Grammy-award winner DJ Jazzy Jeff is a legendary DJ and music producer. He starred on the popular 90s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alongside Will Smith, the other half of iconic award-winning hip hop duo, “DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince.”
Born in Philadelphia, DJ Jazzy Jeff has been spinning records since the age of 10. He’s played a vital role in hip-hop history, securing five gold and platinum albums, two Grammys, three American Music Awards, an MTV Video Music Award and a Soul Train Music Award over the course of his career. Today, you can find his legendary music online as he broadcasts the Magnificent House Party Livestreams for fans.

With Ming’s extensive culinary experience and success of his two restaurants Blue Ginger and Blue Dragon, he founded MingsBings. The idea for the brand developed after his wife Polly was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in 2017. Chef Ming wanted to create delicious, healthy meal options while his wife was in treatment. Using easily recognizable ingredients and delicious superfoods, he curated snacks and meals that were convenient and healthy.
Using the inspiration of the meals he made for his wife, MingsBings was born. Inspired by the flavors of East-West cusine, MingsBings continues to provide great tasting meals that are great for your body. The successful brand continues to contribute to two organizations close to Ming’s heart: The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Family Reach.
